Matthew Beck
|
As co-founder of Lightfoot, Matthew Beck draws on experience from the Robotics Institute (RI) at
Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) where he worked as a research engineer affiliated with the Rapid Manufacturing
Laboratory. In addition to his research responsibilities Matthew was involved with technology transfer to
the sponsoring company and beta testing of the commercialized work.
Prior to founding Lightfoot, Matthew spent six years as a core member of the FreeMarkets (now Ariba)
technology team helping to develop the company’s enterprise software portfolio, architecture and process as
the organization grew from under 100 employees to over 1,000.

Matt Choate
|
Matt Choate has over ten years experience in enterprise software design and development. During his five year
tenure at FreeMarkets (now Ariba), Matt was a key member of the development staff, helping to build
the development team, establishing the development process, and designing and implementing the core software
architecture. Matt has also worked at Amazon.com, Cambridge Technology Partners and Motorola developing enterprise level software applications.
At Lightfoot, Matt designs and implements the software platform for the automation and system applications.
